Hello,

Just the other day, got call from SO and it seems that she left the car running, closed the door, picked up something and came back but door wouldn't open.

Car got locked.

Thankfully, I was nearby with spare key and was able to manually open the car, clicking on remote didn't open the door.

what could cause this?

Go into the settings menu and set it back to factory specs. If that doesn't work, something is wrong with your ECM.
