Hey all,

I just got a 2006 4 door aveo LS. Is there any way in the world to take the door apart and fix it so you can push the lock down when you get out so you don`t have to stick the key in the door to lock it? It is really driving me crazy having to put the key in to lock the door when I get out! I am willing to take the door apart if there is a mod for this. Any and all help would be great!!

I have never tried this on a GM(never owned one that did it), But on Honda's, you can pull the inside door handle while you push the lock down, and then close the door

 

Thanks for the reply. I tried it and it did not work. I to have seen vehicle`s that you could do that on but not this one

Any more idea`s?
