Electrical Gremlin?
2014 Chevy Sonic LT 67,000 miles. Here is my issue, twice last week when it was hot outside (above 80 degrees) i was stuck in stop and go traffic. The car just absolutely died. (No dash lights, dome light, radio, no crank, nothing at all) In a panic I disconnected the battery waited 30 seconds, reconnected the battery and the car came back to life and started. This problem appears to only happen in hot weather while in park or very slow speeds. I have had similar stop and go situations in cool weather and the problem does not happen. There no check engine light or any other warning lights that have come on. I have cleaned both battery terminals and have had the battery checked. Any ideas?
