Default Reading out ODB system

Hey Guys, I'm new here so a little bit about my self to support my story. I'm a programmer with a love for microcontrollers.

I want to try to use a microcontroller to read out the OBD system of my aveo (2009) and hook this up to a little LCD screen to show me digital measures. Does anyone have know the pins of the OBD and info about them?

Second, any idea of the data I would be able to get from the OBD?

Little by the way here: when and if I succeed I will make my work public and open source so you guys can do the same.

I dont know them off hand, will take me about a week to get them. I have my mothers 2004 Aveo sitting in the garage... Only reason itll take a while is, i could be leading wires to different items and random objects...

Are you wanting to go OBD2 to USB?

Matt

OR you can copy and paste that link below... will show you the NORMAL OBD2 connectors... finding the use of the others will be like throwing a wild tazmanian devil down your pants...

Im tryin to build my own version of a OBDuino, http://code.google.com/p/opengauge/w...DuinoInterface but modified so it will have a screen. Simply said, the microcontroller should read out the car and display info on a little LCD screen
