Spark Plug Replacement Issues
Hey guys,
I'm trying to change my plugs but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to get the connector on the coil pack off. It seems like my engine is completely missing the locking tab!

It had the old GM/Chevy 366 cubic-inch big-block motor with sodium-filled Stellite valves, which were used in the Chevy Corvette 427 C-I and other motors. They even had spark plug sandblasting machines everywhere to clean the lead and carbon off a used plug back then, when 105 octane premium gasoline had lots more lead then regular grade gasoline. Just cleaning a spark plug in some cleaner, as this man was doing won't work. I didn't know that GM was still using crush washer plug motors, as seen in the video. I had though all GM motors came with the beveled, no-crush washer spark plugs, not that means anything really, when some cars can go over 100,000 miles on a set of spark plugs. Those two plugs in the very back of that 366 were a real pain in the **** to get to, so I still always us "Never-Seize" on all spark plugs, no matter what.
