I purchased a 2014 Spark LT about a month ago. Two weeks ago, my preferred dealership called stating there were two recalls on my vehicle. I made an appointment to take my vehicle in for the recalls. The morning after I pick up my vehicle, the battery was dead. I called roadside assistance and they sent out help to jump off my Spark. After it was jumped off, there was a beeping noise coming from under the dash. The beeping lasted for 30 seconds. I drove my Spark to the local dealership. They could not find the source of the beeping. Dealership said I needed a new battery. I paid the $200 plus for the new battery. The beeping stopped for about a week. Yesterday, the beeping noise returned. I start the car and within a minute, the beeping noise starts and continues for 30 seconds and stops. The beeping noise returns intermittently. I can park the vehicle, switch the ignition off, open the door, shut the door, start the car and the beeping returns for 30 seconds and stops. There are no warnings lights lit up. I have opened and closed all doors and the hatchback. I have also opened fuel door, taken off gas cap, put gas cap back on and closed fuel door. I have also opened and closed the hood. I have also checked tire pressure. I have no idea what needs to be done, since the dealership cannot locate the problem. Could it be because the car was jumped off?
I am desperately seeking help in this matter.
