October 1 I went to work and when i came out for lunch it was missing. It was later discovered it was 2 male and 1 female native indian from our local res. A few weeks later 3 natives fitting the same discription were busted stealing another one and they tried running over the police so they shot at the truck hitting the female inside. Insert chuckle here. Here is what it looked like when i bought it 3 years ago what it looked like just before it was stolen and what it now looks like after being recovered. Oh yeah it was recovered on the same reservation the 3 live on. Apparantly they accused the white man of dumping it on there property lmao.

Yes the insurance paid out. 2004 Suburban LS 4x4 (with LT option package) 170,000 plus km mint (105000 plus miles). They gave me $14000.00. I found a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500HD SLT 127000KM (78914 miles) leaded leather 5seat. Same interior as burb but more options. I found thet for $14000.00 also. Its in real good shape. Minor stuff to take care of in the spring. All the trucks in the same price range were junk contractor trucks. This one was owned by a old couple who towed there 5th wheel. So i ended upgrading tow vehicles nothing out of pocket. I miss my Burb but like my truck and it's growing on me. Oh yes the stick on hood scoops will be removed in the spring as they serve no purpose. I will get another burb one day again.
