Welcome to the forum. You don't say which suspension parts you replaced. Did you replace the shocks? Did you check the sway bar links and bushings?

not sure what you mean by float?
to me float is; when going over bumps, the shocks don't control jounce and rebound oscillation.

issues when turning could be body sway

the vehicle should have a factory steering stabilizer. steering sway and body sway are different. Is the steering wheel shimmying?

lifted trucks with large aspect ratio tires will have move body sway and more float than a stock set up but it still should be driveable.
