Angry 01 Tahoe Climate Control Not functioning properly

Hi!

I drive a 01 Tahoe and my climate control (non digital) isn't working as it should. When I put the temperature **** on cold, I get heat. When I put it on heat, I get cool air. And the system only blows cool air to the defrost and front vents. It doesn't blow to the floor. A/C isn't the coolest either. Any ideas on where the issue may lie?

Thanks

Sounds like an actuator problem; these little motors move the air flaps in the vent system; these are located under the dash. My 2005 Yukon had three of these, and I had to replace one, and then get the ECU to "learn" it. My previous 1994 also had an actuator issue but a shop replaced that one.

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the feedback! I'll be sure to post my results after I check them

It might be the blower motor resistor.

Not if it's a temperature issue and it's blowing air.
