Default 02 Tahoe 5.3L flex fuel filter replacement

Has anyone used the Lisle 35000 quick disconnect tool on fuel line filter fitting for the 02 tahoe 5.3L? How good did the tool work? I saw on amazon not to use the tool. Thanks for replies and suggestions.

I am changing the fuel filter from the tank to to the engine that is located under the drivers side door. Thanks

I got my fuel filter changed yesterday. I had to take to the local mechanic $30.00. I tried using the quick disconnect, but it was very hard to get the pieces on the fitting without them falling off. There are videos on youtube showing the replacement. I would suggest to take the filter off the bracket and use the Lisle 35000 tool which make better access to the fitting. I should have done this when i was trying to remove the filter.
