Ok, well you tell about it but then don't say that you tried it till I asked. I learned a long time ago not to assume things so I asked. Any help you get here comes from what you are asking and telling us. Bits and pieces of info and unsaid information helps no one.

A scanner does you no good if you don't know how to use it or analyze what it is telling you. Did you look thru you tube videos for info on replacing the actuator and what steps are required after you do? Again, you may assume we know you did but correct is better.

There is never a problem asking questions here but is always best to have complete and thorough info feedback. Sometimes you run in to something like this where all attempts at help and giving info does not work out. I am still leaning toward the control head in the dash but again, that is a WAG. Good luck and please post back here when you get the problem solved, with all info that was done to fix the problem. Thanks.

Yea, definitely not the original from 2003. Does the one you have show a part number that matches or crosses to it?

Never mind, I found that the 15189436 and the 21997352 all cross to either to the new or reman Dorman number at RA. 599001 is the reman Dorman number and 599210 is the new Dorman number. At RA. Price plus shipping but I bet is available at Amazon for a little more for free shipping.

At Amazon:
Amazon Amazon

Both listed as new but with different numbers. The new Dorman number of 599210 shows both the numbers, 15189436 or 21997352, as crossover numbers for the two Dorman numbers.
