I have a 2003 suburban, and recently the door got jammed and it would shut, so my mom slammed it and now whenever i try to unlock it, the lever only goes halfway so it wont open, and when you try to open it from the outside it just pulls the lever out doesnt open the door.

Any suggestions?

 

Sounds like somehow the door latch closed while the door was open either by something bumping into it or maybe a kid pressed it down on the hinge, I have accidentaly done that as a kid and had tinker with the latch to get it to re open. Hopefully it wasnt damaged when it was slammed.
