Well the inevitable happen and found out I had a cracked front differential. The crack is on the passenger cv axle tube or housing however it's called.

I have called a few junkyards with no luck on finding a AWD diff.

Is it possible to replace JUST the passenger axle tube from that of a 4WD front differential? The diff is off a 02 Avalanche. The only thing I noticed was that the axle tube has the 4wd selector on the tube and the AWD does not have one.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Its is my only vehicle and I'm down to checking the diff fluid everyday.
