I am sure there will other opinions,but I would replace the fluids with OEM, you can go synthetic but then you will need to keep those on hand to top off when needed...
Replacing the bushings with poly will help firm up the ride, try to get ones that have grease fittings for the sway bar, when they get cold they can get squeaky and noisy... even my factory rubber ones do this when its cold out...
