Default '04 Suburban AC Issue

I need some help!
My Suburban has developed an AC issue. It has the dual Climate Control system and every once in a while on the drivers side it will go from full AC to full Heat. The only way to get the AC functioning again is to turn the ignition off and restart. Passenger side works fine.
What should I look for to correct this issue?

Welcome to the forum.

Someone here might be able to help. Might try disconnecting the battery for 10-20 minutes.

Thanks Shark!
I pulled the neg. cable today while I was cleaning my air cleaner. We'll see if that does the trick.
Why would this possibly fix this issue?

It's the Chevy equivalent of Control, Alt, Delete.

2005 'Burb 2500 LT, exact same issue... happens once every couple months... very annoying

of course, had it in to the Chevy dealer, and the knuckleheads there gave me the old: "we couldn't duplicate the problem...", along with a $80 bill
