Further testing swapped five with seven. Now p300 code only. Also hate to say this but less of a burnt fuel smell and a more foul smell. Check engine light flashes for a couple of minutes shuts off and repeats. Runs a little rougher after swapping.

Put new plugs and wires on less than 200 miles ago. If I pulled the plugs would they tell me anything

Yes, pulling them will tell you if you are getting oil fouling...
Need to check the wiring to the coil packs, also check the cam and crankshaft position sensor wiring, make sure nothing is burnt, pinched or broken

Looks like new fuel cleared random misfire. Reset codes this morning and drove for forty five miles with no Codes. Only error now is p305 at an extended idle only. Reset on return trip and no codes until a idle

Pulled #5 plug. Looked fine. Noticed the coil was a little loose. Tightened it up. Took another 30 mile test run. Only time I got an error code was when I let it idle for a minute. Check engine would flash about thirty times and clear itself. No codes under a load. Shows a p300 pd code but never recorded it

Exactly what I was thinking myself.

Cheap gasoline is cheap for a reason. ARCO saves money not using credit cards, but that's only 3 percent. The rest of it is spent lying on their ad's, and using cheap gasoline at all times. It's OK to use cheap gas once in a while, but all the time spells trouble just waiting to happen.

I've seen how spotless a carburetor was using Techron Chevron gasoline, Having a 22-year-old Chevy pickup with the old style fuel poppet injectors, I've not had any issues at all.
