Default 05 suburban rear wiper

I have an 05 suburban and I started to notice that the rear window wiper was sporadic when I would turn it on this summer. I was out of state for a little bit and let my parents use my car for the boat. I got back and the rear wiper hasn't worked at all. I was wondering if anyone know what I can do to fix it that would help me out.

Welcome to the forum.

Is the wiper arm firmly attached to the motor shaft?

Does the motor shaft turn?

Does the motor run at all when the wiper is turned on? Can you hear it making any noise? Any additional information you can provide will help in resolving the issue. I look forward to hearing from you!

I'm having same problem. 2005 LT 2500 Suburban
The motor does not activate... no sound, no nothing

It's been this way for about the last two years.

What's strange is, since it stopped working, on a couple of occasions, I've popped the upper glass, and the arm cycled once.

I have researched this issue and haven't come across any Suburban wiper issues in my resources. Have you had it inspected by your dealer? If you have further questions, feel free to contact me, here or via PM. I look forward to your response.
