Default 05 Tahoe 2nd row capt to bench?????

I've read the other posts about switching to a bench but what parts are needed when I get the bench what else should I look for????? Any help would be great I just had a new baby and two older kids and the capt's chairs aren't working any more!

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Concrats on the new baby.

My advice is to look at an existing truck with the bench and note all of the pieces that are different and be sure you get those when you find a bench to swap.

I'd be willing to bet that the hardware is all attached to the seat itself, I know on my 97 when I pulled the 2nd row out to replace the rear carpet the seats came out all one piece. You mayhave to cut the carpet to find the bolt holes for the bench seat and itsentirely possible that the holes may not even be punched thru.
Worst case you may have to have some added supports welded in to provide ancorage for the bench seat, but I think more then likley it will be a plug and play with a little carpet cutting
