06 2500 suburban a/c
ac will blow 50 degrees at the vents at times then 75-80 degrees. a/c has worked great till now, all actuators seem to do there job, it has rear air and it too runs the same temp at the vents, manifold gauges read 50psi on low side and 225 on high side at 85-90 degrees ambient temp. compressor will run non stop with doors open and set a 60 degrees. any clue where to start?
When vents are 75-80 degrees, immediately pull over, put in park/neutral, leave AC on, raise hood, see if center of compressor is still turning.
Last month on my 1998 Frontier I had a slipping AC clutch (intermittent, like your symptoms), and I saw the center of the compressor was not turning when air was warm. My fix was to remove the AC clutch drive plate and remove a thin shim/washer to adjust the clutch gap.

I have checked the airgap, its within specs and compressor is turning. just now finished checking blend door actuator and it has full movement with temp selector and no resistance with the door itself. moisture in the system is my best guess, will change dryer, evac and recharge to specs and see what that does. thanks for reply
