06 suburban AC issues
I have an 06 model and was having ac issues . I was told that I needed a new compressor. So I ended up buying new compressor and accumulator, charged the system worked for a little bit and now nothing. all fuses are good...
The issue now is that the compressor will not engage at all on the new one anymore... Need help ideas, this is for my daughters vehicle and were down here in south Texas.

sounds like you have a refrigerant leak. check the charge level.
if the compressor were to run with no refrigerant....it would seize as the lubricating oil for the compressor is carried in suspension by the refrigerant. To protect from this, a low pressure switch opens the compressor circuit to shut it off when low pressure is detected.
to check for a leak you need professional equipment....electronic leak detector or uv light is the system has a dye added to the pag oil.
resist the temptation to add a sealer and charge the system....they don't work and shops won't connect to it; the sealer will **** their equipment.
