Camping Right Now
Is there anyway I can continue watching a dvd all the way through, without turning off and on the key every 10mins or so? My husband and I are camping in my 2006 Suburban LT right now and hoping for some help now.

I know this thread is really old, but it's been over a week and no moderator has approved my post for a new thread... So gonna ask here...
I have a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Z71 with the roof mounted DVD player and RSE system. I can get the rear controls to play sound from every source except the DVD player. The Video plays find, but regardless of my setting, I cannot get sound from the DVD player. I've tried wired headphones with no success, and I don't have the wireless headphones (unless they are in some sort of hidden compartment that I can't find).
I've also checked every fuse 30 amp and below (both fuse boxes) and all fuses are working... I'm at a loss as to know why this has ceased to work... Everything in the vehicle is stock with the exception of 2 wires that are attached to a 15amp & 25amp fuse and run down and towards the rear of the vehicle (although I can't find what they connect to)...
If anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem might be, I'd love to hear them... I just bought this vehicle and it has 245,000+ miles on it, but it is in excellent condition...
