My 2007 suburban is converted to a 6.0 from an 08 2500 when i was towing my camper it gets hot running up hills it has the 5.3 l cooling fans on it, can i convert to a clutch fan set up and where could i get a shroud

Is your radiator from the 6.0 engine ?

Our 2005 Yukon Denali with 6.0 engine did have electric cooling fans and did not run hot in Arizona towing two horses.

 

no its the stock 5.3l radiator i have the new body style suburban if that makes a difference
