Default 07 Chevy suburban ignition/wiring problem

I have a 07 Chevy suburban and it has a lot of weird electrical issues like it always says my rear hatch is open when it's not and my passenger side front blinker won't work but those aren't the biggest problem. the reason I'm here today is the truck won't shut off when I turn the key off and take the key out all of the electronics go off but the truck still idles until I pull the bcm ignition fuse .also the check engine light stays on even when I kill the truck by pulling the fuse and some thing is draining my battery it will be completely dead with in 4 hours .its also tell me its low on coolant and it's not. help please before I drive it into a lake lol just joking...kinda

What tech2 posted is what it sounds like. I have an 03 that was doing about the same thing, and running the battery down. When you pull the key out, does the cylinder grooves etc. lined up, or is part of it not. That is a 2 piece cylinder. You can remove it, clean it up, and put it back together, fixed my issue without having to replace it.

you replaced the mechanical portion or electrical portion? Iam referring to the electrical switch. did you follow service information or put the new one in the same way the old one came out?
if you had a scan tool you could view each switch position to confirm its installed correctly.
