07 Lockpick/Superlockpick GEN 3
Ok, I installed this and it worked as promised but not for long. When I put the vehicle in drive the lock message comes up and I hit the mute button 4 times and wow... IT WORKS!!! But then I drive over 6 miles an hour and then BAM the screen lock comes on. If I drive under 6 miles an hour or stop...It Works again.
So the Nav see's that I am moving and it prevents me from viewing. So I read the instructions and it says to override the nav fuction to hit the doorlock lockout button 4 times and BAM it works while driving but after 60 seconds BAM the screen lock comes back on. I see the instructions state that the Nav override only lasts 60 seconds so what they heck do I do?
Anyone have one of these in their 07's that actually works?
Thanks!

I just bought and installed my Super Lockpick in my '07 Tahoe and it works just as advertised. First I would check the dip switch settings. If that doesnt work, contact CoastalETech. I have some installation issues and they responded quickly and professionally.

all you should have to do is press the mute button 4x...that should activate the device until you disable the feature or turn off the vehicle.

Ok as far as I know the door lockout isfor nav functions and the mute is for movies.
My first question is what are your dip settings at
Second is do you have a factory rear camera
If not did you connect a video source and what is your production date
The nav override is only to enter an address or find a destination while moving, also this function is to change categories on cd or xm function and will last 60 sec at a time.

I had the dips set for automatic but after speaking with the manufacture automatic control is only available for early production builds. My Tahoe was very recent (I just purchased it 2 weeks ago) and the build was just a few months back so automatic settings are not compatible. Changing the dips per instructed everything now works but you have to hit the mute button 4 times everytime you want to activate it.

I have this too, and it works as advertised. The 60-sec shut-off comes after that long of a period of inactivity. I've spent longer than that settting up a nav route, and as long as I'm entering data, it never shuts off.
