Default 2007 Tahoe LTZ GM LOCKPICK Gen 3

I just received my new GM lockpick Gen 3. Installation in my 07 Tahoe LTZ was relatively easy, most difficult part was the trim removal on the dash.
The automatic dvd override feature seems to work fine. I can activate the manual NAV override with the window lockout button (x4). During the ca. 60 seconds that the nav unlock is in operation, the screen does occasionally reblock (blink) for brief amounts of time.
Is there any way around this reblock? The instructions describe this as normal and part of the design of the lockpick… I find it somewhat annoying and wish I could permanently unlock the nav features, just like the dvd…

Thanks!

There's a thread on this forum that not only tells you what they used but also has pictures after the trim is removed showing where the clips are so you know where to pry.
