07 Suburban 2500 Need help picking 20" wheels/tires
Yeah the LT's are my first choice for sure, but I'm having a hell of a time finding one that will fit. I'm going to take some real measurements once I get the truck on the lift.
The 275/60 will work. The actual rear axle weight at curb weight with me in the truck is 3200, plus the 780# tongue load from the trailer and I've got 700+ lbs left over, plus the 10% margin for SUV's that a tire manufacturers build into the load ratings (2300# tires are actually 2600#, but 10% is taken off the specs for truck/SUV applications). Nothing goes in the truck when I tow, it's all in the 26' trailer with the race car. I have to decide if the few days a month I tow during the summer is worth the extra expense and rougher ride of the LTs. I'll let you guys know how I make out, this project is still a month or more away.

The 275/65's are going to be 9" wide, I presume the 20" Rims you're considering are the same ?
You should be able to tell the Rim Manufacturer/Dealer what you're putting them on, and they should give you a Rim, which has the proper offset, to fit correctly without rubbing.
What exactly did you mean by "having a hel of a time finding one that will fit" ?

The issue is finding the largest possible diameter tire with the look i want that also has enough load capacity. Its tough because not many guys mess with the newer suburban, so there isn't much info out there. Wheel manufacturers are all over the place from it "should fit" to no way. Nobody with first hand experience though. Looks like 33" its about the max with a leveling lift.
What about this then...
Going with a 265/60/20, like the one at...
Goodyear*Wrangler SR-A with an 8" x 20" Rim.
Actually 8.5" x 20" Rim would be perfect, IF you can find one you like.
That'll put your Tread width at 8.6", height at 32.5", and the capacity at 3267 (121 Index) lbs which should be pretty close on the Load Capacity. That's an "S" speed rated (112 mph) if that makes any difference to you.
(It just might, given your User Name
)
What is the actual (GM) Dry Weight of your Burb ?
