07 Suburban Check engine light on
Hello everyone, My wifes 07 Suburban has a check engine light that decided to pop up and say hello.in the meanwhile, the oil pressure gauge decides to peg at 80 then to 60 and back to 0 when it feels like it. I tried connecting an obd 2 scanner and for some reason it wont link. My friend had an issue with an a sensor that controlled the gauge. He crawled up there and unplugged it while the key was on and the gauge was acting a fool. Has anyone had this problem? if so what is the remedy? It has oil and its a little on the high side. I plan on changing it today, and it it has been running as normal. It has 101xxx on it and we just got it about 2 weeks ago. I figured something would go wrong eventually but not this soon. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for responding. I will check the fuses but when i plug it it it comes on and says "linking" but it winds up not linking. Its my dads and he said it maybe his machine. But I will check the fuses. Appreciate it!!
