Just received my mirror covers for my 07 ltz do they stick right on the existing painted mirror covers or do they need to be removed?

 

It depends on what type you bought. Dealer ones you need to remove the old ones.

 

no they are the ones with the 3m tape just covers not a dealer item

 

hmm, i have the same covers. They cheap and also looks cheap. Just clean mirror with rubbing alcohol, peal of 3M red protective strip and glue them over the existing mirror covers.

Are they the ones by Putco? I have those and they cover the entire mirror housing. Just make sure you clean real well per the instructions. One guy on another forum didn't and lost one of them.

 

I dont even think I am gonna use them they came with the door handles and the mirroe covers for some reason dont look good at all they really dont fit the mirror right.the handles were a good buy though they fir perfect.

 

Man the dealer mirror tops are less than $75.00. And the door real door handle are less than $150 for all 4, they come with installation instructions.

 

u mean OEM replacements ? Or same covers as sell on eBay ?

 

OEM replacements. My door handles and mirrors were black when I bought the truck.
