Is this in a garage? DId you install the nav unit, or from the factory? Have you disconnected the battery cables?

If any of the above apply take the tahoe out and drive it around it should start to show up again.

I have a Silverado and it does the same thing. sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not.

I cannot figure out exactly what causes it -remote start? no remote start? turning off with XM on or CD on.

Weird?

Seems like there was a mention on this forum of certain MP3 CDs causing this. Might try a search.

Upon insertion of any MP3 disc in the cd player the clockwill disappear off the right coner of the Nav screen as soon as the Tahoe isrestarted. If the disc is removed the Tahoe must be restarted to get the clock back on the Nav screen..

Tryhaving your dealer look at...

TIS software calibration (part # 15260985) update that your dealer can download into your unit under warranty.

I believe it is the one for the clock issue and other display problems with the radio.

ZX will have to confirm.

The disappearing clock is a known issue that Denso is working on, currently there is no fix for this annoying little problem.

Let me tell you what happened to mine yesterday.I have an '07 LTZ with all the bells and whistles. Went to the bank yesterday. Upon arriving at the bank cut it off. Naturally the radio was still playing as normal. Once I opened the door, the radio is supposed to quit, right. Well it was still playing. Tahoe off and keys in hand. Went into bank. Got back in and radio still playing. Cranked and radio cuts off. Would not come back on for a minute or two. Strange.....

You are really lucky. Most of us prior to the fix couldn't let our radios play for two or three ten minute cycles without having to jump to start.
