The Little Misses 07 Tahoehas a problem with the fuel gauge, we plan on taking it in but beacuse it also has a check engine light butwas seeking wisdom from the GM Guru's on this site. You People were great when I upgraded the Power Mirrors to DL3's. Any input or assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry! I guess a little more info would help, It has not been scanned to pull the code and the wife is pretty sure the code did not set when the gauge started acting up. When the gauge drops out it does not give a low fuel warning but the miles to empty shows dashed lines!!!! I would think dashed lines on miles to empty would also give a low fuel! I filled the truck about 200 miles from home and the gauge did not act up any more until it got to a little more than 1/2 . When the gauge does act up it goes right below empty and seems to move down a little more when the key is turned off.The engine light stays on. Thanks again

 

If the "Check Engine" lite lit, then it should have a code. Most auto parts stores will scan for free.

 

define "problem" if it goes down too quickly... drive slower?
