Not sure if they are plug and play, but if they do get the part numbers from your local GMC parts guy and then look on gmpartsdirect.com to get a better price.

I'm pretty sure the 07 GMC/Denali taillights are not plug and play. If i remember right the wiring and connectors are different on the two. When you find out more let us know.

One problem I can see right off the bat is the placement of the reverse light (center port on Tahoe) lower on Denali.

I have a Tahoe tail lamp assembly around here but I don't have a GMC one so I can't get into much detail, but I am confident that anyone worth their weight in Spam can make this mod work with a pair of electrician’s pliers and a few butt connectors at the most.

I agree with ZX on this. When I had my taillamp assy. out I noted that you could probably drop the rev. lamp down with no problem, but you will have to extend the lower light up to the center position & that will take some splicing (3 wires). I do not believe there was enough slack in the harness that comes up from under the body to simply move the lower bulb to the mid position.

I would be highly surprised if there was a physical fit difference as the two dowels and screw locations to attach the lamp housing - they should be the same.If you want to do the GMC swap order the tail lamp housings from a GMC dealer & make sure they are returnable (they should be as they are not electrical components) then test the fit - electrical should be no problem.

That said, what I really want to know is what wiring harness p/n's and if there is a specific module required to drive the LED'sto do an Escalade taillight swap............. Obviously the incandescent bulb socket harness in the Chevy/GMC GMT-900 platform won't work unaltered.

If talking about the taillamps for the Yukon Denali, they are plug and play for the 07 Tahoe. I have a pair on mine and they were simple to put on. Just snap the old ones off and plug in the new ones. As far as the 3rd brake light, I do not know. I paid $160 off of Ebay for the pair.

As far as the wires there was no problem moving them around for me. There was no splicing necessary, there is enough slack to manipulate them into the right slots.

Thanks for confirming. This forum is great. I keep thinking about how much money it has saved me, but then I think about how much money I will spend to do many mods I found here.
