RE: 07 Tahoe LTZ Lowering
I went with the McGaughys kit on my LTZ, but just recently took it off. The kit was easy to install, took about 2 hours. Had to adjust the toe, but everything else for the alignment was ok. The spindles I modified becuase when the wheels were dropped,( car is the air on a lift)it did not allow for the wheels to turn left or right, which was not comfortable for me. I ground out part of the spindle so it would clear, never had an issue up front. The rear springs made the Tahoe a little more bouncy on the roads andthe rear stock 20's would run at times, on corners. My main issue why I took the kit off is the ESP light and ABS always kicked in when turning, braking, or going over bumps. Once it went back to stock, no issues.
I havent had any experiance with the other kits

frycaptain: so i take it you have autoride or whatever it's called? If you do i'm curious to see the outcome of your lowering w/ the eibach. I'm waffling on this as I havent seen anyone do the drop w/ autoride. Please keep us posted.

Because of the drivability issues it had, having the abs kick in when you need to stop does not always sit right with me. Plenty of times I hit the brakes and the tahoe did not want to stop. Once it went back to stock, no issues with the abs or traction control system
