Default '07 Tahoe LTZ Side Steps

There was an LTZ Tahoe on display at our annual State Fair this year. It had some nice chrome side steps with black plastic step pieces. I asked the gal that was handing out brochures for the Tahoe if they were standard and came on the Tahoe and she said "yes." Unfortunately, she didn't know the price or make of the steps. Does anybody have the part number for these? Oh, they were the oval style (not round) and they had three black plastic brackets/areas that they attach to the body (not two on the ends like most side steps/nerf bars).

GM has something that sounds similar to what you saw as P/N 124997706 for $596.

As stated above the z71 is the only tahoe that has the chrome tubular bars standard. I think the lady was wrong! I dont know when your state fair was, but I dont believe the z71 was the one being shown. It probably wasnt available then. I could be wrong, but I think she was wrong.

As 73 shark stated you can purchase them from GM, but they are pricey. There will be an aftermarket brand come out soon on ebay for $200. I will probably wait for them. I am cheap! Ok, maybe not cheap but poor!

I have them on my 07 Tahoe. They are a GM Accessory, part number 12499706. The retail price will vary from dealer to dealer but you should be able able to find someone to sell them to you for under $500. Installation at the dealership should be approx .5 hr
