Default 07 Tahoe Questions

Anyone know where I can find rails for the roof rack on a 07 Tahoe? Also, I really want to put some new wheels and tires on my 07 Tahoe LT but I'm torn betwwen 22's and 24's and it is beacuse of the issue of not affecting warranty; performance; tire sensor function, etc.. Am I over reacting or are there options that will give me a peace of mind especially in regard to maybe going with 24's.

TIA ... AAHTahoe

Yes ... I would be interested in your crossbars. How much you want for them? Did you take them off yourself? What's involved with putting them on?

Thanks!

I'd take 60 for the pair plus the freight. Yes I pulled them off which is very simple. You will need to remove the front or rear pads driver and passenger sides. I chose to remove the front. There are two torx screws holding down each cap in place. After you remove the screws there is a clip on the inside of the cap that you will need to prop upwards then slide the cap towards the front or the hood. Watch the paint.Next with the help of an assistant slide the bars on to the rails and then replace the caps. I applied a little sealant on the rivet-nuts before I re-installed the screws just to besure.......e

E,

I don't need the crossbars after all. Looks like you have 2 other interested members that may take them off of your hands. Thanks for your responses.

In regard to wheels go with the 24's and you will love it. Ride quality has not changed at all with the 24's.
