I'm sorry if this has been covered, but I looked and dont see a thread.

I have a 2007 Tahoe with stock wheels. I have removed all of the chrome markings (LTZ, Tahoe, GM, Flexfuel),removed the gold bow tie from the rear (thanks forum), and replaced the front with a billet badge (would prefer chrome, but cant find one).

I HATE the gold bow ties on the wheels...they seem to be stickers under clearcoat on plastic.

Has anyone had any luck removing them.

I masked off the bowtie, scuffed the clear coat and painted with the same paint I used on the front bowtie. Came out nice.

 

Painted the logo with silver paint to match wheel. Used a small brush like those that are found in hobby/craft stores.
