Default 08 1500 Sub - Transmission now an issue

Here's the story, had the transmission lines replaced at dealer 2 months back. They forgot to put the dip stcik back in but I drove home 5 miles not knowing. Noticed a funny skip in 1st gear from a dead stop, and figured fluid levels just adjusitng. I wasn't everytime I started but about 50-60% of thetime.

Next day got a frantic call from dealer telling me they forgot to put the dip stick back in and to bring it in right away which was done.

Told them about the skip and they said is was normal.
Been driving it since for about 300 miles and now the 1st gear skip from a stop is a lot more pronounced, and almost everytime I start to move. in fact its almost a jolt a\nd gettting worse.

I am bringing it in to be checked, but does anyone have an idea of what the issue is or experience the same issue?

Shifts ok in the other gears, reverse is fine.

Well, without that Dipstick, you couldn't see if they also forgot to put enough Fluid in it to start with, and burned a clutch. I think I'd insist that they fixed that problem at no charge to you.

Update: dealer inspected and said nothing wrong but they acknowledge symptom.
Told to not use "auto " for driveline evn though I have driven it in auto for 90k miles.
Told to stay in 2 wheel mode and only use auto if necessary. They think the computer thinks I need all wheel drive from a stopped position.
Again , never had an issue until they changed the transmission lines.

So I am documented should anything fail.
I admit, the symptoms go away in 2 wheel mode.

The lines were leaking so they had to be replaced, corroded pretty good.
