I have an '08 Suburban LT 4x4 with a 5.3L. I started having issues with the EVAP breather filter plugging about a year after I got it and it is going into the dealer again next week for the fifth or sixth time now. It has a little over 120,000 km on it and the extended warranty is due to expire at 140. I would love to be able to remove the whole setup but I think it would be next to impossible. Dealer has tried to relocate the breather with little success, it has been about 6 months and less than 15,000 km since the last time it was changed. I am not looking forward to going off warranty and having to deal with this. Has anyone found a solution to this issue or am I stuck with getting the dealer to locate it somewhere accessible and just changing it myself every 6 months?
