I'm working on the inner fender wells on an 08 Suburban 1500 and need the plastic fasteners that hold these plastic parts in place - and it seems that the holes they go in are .340 and that seems like a strange dimension. Does anybody know what the correct fasteners are, and a source? I was hoping maybe O'Reillys or Autozone had the right ones, NAPA is closed on Sunday here in Taos.

The dealer will for sure be your best bet, but check Amazon and sometimes RockAuto... post a picture of the fastener you are looking for....

in2pro, yes, it looks like parts 7,8,& 9 in the fender well picture would be what I'm after - the vehicle needs to be ready to go Tuesday morning so I won't be able to get to the dealer - the one here in Taos has a very small parts department but may be able to give me an OEM part # that I can cross with Auveco. I did find Dorman 461240BP, which are GM fender apron retainers, not exactly right but will work. At this point, it's mostly for future reference but the organization using these vehicles tears them up pretty regularly ( and two of the fender apron fasteners are missing on my Tahoe) Thanks for the picture.

 

The image came from GM parts direct... it does look like Amazon carries the parts for future reference
