Default 08 Tahoe Starting Issue

Hey, I’m new here and normally just try to research my info but I can’t find any ideas and I’m stumped. Anyways, I just recently purchase and 08 Tahoe z71 a few months back. I just recently noticed an issue when starting. Whenever I turn the key over to start, it will randomly “cut out” mid crank for a moment like it isn’t going to start then proceeds to crank and fire right up. The best way I can describe it is like when you go to start your vehicle and your hand slips off to early before it actually fires, if that makes sense. The Tahoe has 95k miles and I’m stumped. The battery is fairly new and the terminals look good and it doesn’t act as if the starter is bad from my experience in the past. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Change the crank relay as a first step. They are a cheap part.

Alright I’ll scoop one up in the morning and try that. Thank you, any other ideas?

So I changed out the crank relay and still the same issue. Seems to get worse once it’s been drove around for awhile but still doesn’t do the everytime.

Load test the battery. They can be erratic and any battery over 3 yrs old is suspect.
Clean and tighten battery terminals, looks good may not be enough.
