09 Tahoe Hybrid Nav screen stuck. Caution cannot load system software

09 Tahoe Hybrid Nav screen stuck. Caution cannot load system software
Hey all.
So I treid to upgrade my nav dvd the other day. I put in the disk in the nav slot and it got a quarter of the way through the update and then stopped and gave me the white screen of death. The unit is frozen and I cant get anything to open it. The radio still works and plays the volume works and the but screen does not respond. Any ideas on how to open it? I have tried everything I can think of or find on other forums. Any help would be amazing. I cant afford the $500 or so the dealer wants to diagnose and fix it.
