Default 09 Tahoe Hybrid Nav screen stuck. Caution cannot load system software

Hey all.
So I treid to upgrade my nav dvd the other day. I put in the disk in the nav slot and it got a quarter of the way through the update and then stopped and gave me the white screen of death. The unit is frozen and I cant get anything to open it. The radio still works and plays the volume works and the but screen does not respond. Any ideas on how to open it? I have tried everything I can think of or find on other forums. Any help would be amazing. I cant afford the $500 or so the dealer wants to diagnose and fix it.

I'd call GM, as they sold you this upgrade disc, right? Their product broke your headunit...

Disconnect the battery ground and let it sit for 15 minutes. That should reset the unit and allow you to eject the bad disc before it tries to load.
