Default 1988 Seat compatibility?

Hey all! I'm new to this forum, and have a (hopefully) simple question.

I am looking to upgrade my 1988 Suburban's seats, and was planning on getting my current one's re-upholstered, but thought if I could pick up a good used one on ebay from a newer rig, that might be pretty sweet.

So, what years will fit into the floor clevises on my '88?

Thanks.

A lot of seats wil interchange, the biggest factor is the bolt pattern on the bottom. I don't have any firm info to give you, but I can tell you that the seats from a Mitsubishi Eclipse wil bolt right onto Jeep CJ7 risers. Look around and you should be able to find something you like that will fit.

(Possably interesting info: early '90's VW GTi's and Jetta GLi's came factory with Recaro bucket seats!)
