Default 1988 Suburban Cruise Control won't work with temperature warm or hot

I am the 2nd owner of my 1988 Suburban, EFI, and the cruise works perfectly at ambient temperatures less than 60 degrees. Anything above 80 degrees when the engine is warm, and the cruise control will not work.

Any help is greatly appreciated. This has been my baby, still taking family and friends on 7+ hour road trips, so the cruise is crucial.

I have tested the brake sensor by pulling the pedal towards the seat, engaging cruise, when engine is warm, and same result. I have also checked and replaced any questionable vacuum lines.

Thanks in advance.
