Default 1990 GMC Suburban Normal Temp Range

Who knows the normal temp range for a GMC 90 Suburban? Mine is running at 210-215. Already changed fan clutch, thermostat, and sensor. Water pump is working and belt is good. Any ideas? Thanks!

Rarchar, You're radiator may need to be baked and rodded. You can take it out your self and have a radiator shop B&R it. This will save you a lot of labor. Radiators over time start have a build up inside them and it restricts the water flow not letting the water coolenough.
Good Luck, Dondobe

You can buy a new all aluminum radiator for your car. Very inexpensive. These radiators are for big blocks and can cool up to 750 hp. I can advise you. Let me know if I can help...

If your radiatorchecks outOK, check your water pump. Even though the pump is turning, the impeller vanes may be partially worn or disolved away after nearly 20 years in liquid, and the pump may not be moving enough volume to cool the engine.

Mine was doing the same thing. I changed the thermostat only to have no difference. Tried yet another thermostat and bingo - it worked. My brand new thermostat had been faulty.
