1993 GMC K1500 Suburban Ground points
Sit back, grab your favorite libation, and listen to my story.
I recently had my transmission rebuilt.
Ever since then I have been having weird issues.
My "ABS" and "Brake" lights randomly illuminate while I'm driving and not touching the brake pedal (brakes work fine).
My windshield wipers quit working and I troubleshot that to the ground wire for the wiper motor having 600 ohms on it, ran a new ground and now the wipers work as they should.
My temp gauge on the instrument cluster reads low suddenly.
My truck has started backfiring.
So because of the faulty ground I found for the wipers I suspect that I may have an issue with my grounds that MAY have been disturbed when they replaced the transmission.
ANY HELP is appreciated!
Mike

the only wires they could have messed with (unless they did something not normal) is the wire loom that runs behind the engine. this wire loom can get caught between the engine and trans and when they tighten the trans to the engine it will cut the wires
