1993 Suburban Transmission Help!

Hello everyone. I decided to buy a new transmission as this is a traveling vehical. I installed the transmission just as I have others and when starting the vehical it made a loud scraping sound as if something was rubbing against the flywheel or torque convertor. After inspecting both components neither had anything rubbing on them.
I'm at a loss. The ECM isn't throwing any tranny codes so I really can't figure out where the noise is coming from. Any ideas?![Confused](https://chevroletforum.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Thanks,
Tim

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. The convertor was bolted with a bracket to the new tranny. I removed the bracket just before sliding the transmission into position.
Can you elaborate on your question? That must be the issue.

when installing a trans always spin the torque converter and push it into the trans, it seats the torque properly, if you install the converter on the trans or if in your case it was transported then always check if it is seated, also another thing i have seen is somebody installing the flexplate backwards made a wicked chattering sound
