I think I may already know the answer to this, but has anyone ever swapped their suburban body to a dodge chassis? I'm going to start on a project soon. I bought a 1994 Dodge 2500 with the 12 valve cummins in it and I'm going to swap my body to that chassis. This way I will have the solid axle in the front and the heavier frame. The wheel base is only off by 3" so I will have to move the rear axle on the frame and I know I will have to make new body mounts but that is easier than the solid axle swap and boxing the frame on my half ton chassis.
