Default 1994 Suburban - Electric hatch release not working

Hi all, I'm new to this forum

I have a '94 Suburban 6.5 TD with the tailgate style rear door. The hatch release switch on the dash isn't working. It's been driving me crazy so I'm hoping folks here might be able to help.

Here is what I found so far:
- There is 12V at the dash switch
- The switch works as it should when I test it with an ohmmeter
- There is no power at the actuator in the tailgate when the switch is depressed
- Just to be sure, I hotwired the actuator to the battery. It worked fine.

So there seems to be a break in the wiring between the switch and the actuator. The diagrams in my Haynes manual don't show the power hatch release (I guess they only show the pickups not the Suburbans).

I was wondering if anyone could share a wiring diagram that shows the hatch release circuit. If you had any recommendations that would be great too. Thank you for your help!
