Where is the tempature blend door actuator on a 1995 Tahoe, and can it be accessed without removing the dash?

 

If your talking about the part I think you are, it's under the hood in front of the passenger side firewall. It has 3 hoses connecting to it, (i think) one from the engine, one to the core and one back somewhere else. it also has a small hose for the vaccum control part... that adjusts the 'blending'...

so, yes, it's under the hood, just follow the small coolant lines.

I replaced the heater core in my 1995, it's a fairly easy job.

 

No, that is not the one I was refering to. I am getting hot coolant through the heater core but no heat inside the vehicle. It has to be the tempature blend door in the dash. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

nevermind, found it by removing the glovebox and cig. lighter assembly

 

how can I make a killswitch to my 95 2 door tahoe ?? What's the best way n from where ?? I'm planning to use a toggle switch .... please can anyone let me know how to make one on my truck...thanks
