Dug it out at 6am this morning was a little cold to play with (12F') but will try that tonight. Thanks

Unplugged the Actuator and put it into 4wd and the fuse is still good so all I need to do now is buy a Actuator. Thanks for your help Wes

It sounds like that should be the reason for the short, I hope it works for you and it's an easy repair.

Thankyou MudManiac I now have 4wd again and just in time it just started snowing again.

Its was $110 fix and super easy even with the car covered in 4 feet of snow Thanks Again Wes

i know this is a pretty old thread but have to say thank you. just bought my 95 tahoe 6 months ago and after plowing with it for the first time it blew the 4x4 fuse. google seach brought me here. saved me a lot of time trying to figure it out myself. Once again thank you
