Default Same Problem

My 1996 Tahoe with the 5.7L vortec has the exact same problem. Once warmed up, the only way to start it is to step on the gas pedal, but when cold it starts just fine. My Tahoe will start warm but only if I start it within about a minute of shutting it off. Other then that my problem is 100% the same.

Check the resistance of the coolant temp sensor hot and cold (post #15) or for what they cost you could just change it its the 2 wire one on the t-stat housing

Default 2001 3.8 Monte Carlo ss same issue

Recently purchased my mc, when I took it for a test drive it started fine 10 min down the road stoped at a gas station to get gas... Tried to start the car... Wouldn't start (warm).. it drives fine and always starts on a cold start. Was throwing a 02 sensor, map, and IAT. Replaced all, oil changed, cleaned maf still same issue. I've called every local mechanic twice ,paid my daddy $200 to "fix" it.. Chevy dealership told me $95 to diagnose.. first thing in the AM im going to get this sensor. If it works I'll mail you a mvp cake... Lol.
